He probado diferentes marcas pero me quedo principalmente con tres: Lush, Weleda y Go & Home.

Hi fantastic readers!!!
How is your summer going so far?? I hope it goes perfect and that you enjoy what it is still left. Today I like to write you about some of the oral care products I like the most. I have tried different brands but I stay mainly with three: Lush, Weleda and Go & Home. It has been a while since I changed my toothpastes and mouthwashes from more "commercial" brands to others that work the same or even better for me. What makes them different is that they do NOT test on animal and do NOT put my health in risk by using harmful chemicals. You have to keep in mind that, apart from the skin, the mouth, specifically the tonsils, is the first defense barrier against diseases, so it is important to have the most healthy mouth as possible. The prices is just as good as those from other brands. Actually none of the toothpastes I am going to write you about costs more than 7€ (£5). The mouthwash is a little bit more expensive but it is not over 8€ (£8).
Ultrablast from Lush: it is a product part of Lush's revolutionary solid toothpaste range. The packaging is really easy to travel with. The flavour is very minty so you "get you self-confidence back in short distances" (quote from the Spanish website). The main ingredients are: garden pea powder, kaolin, peppermint, spearmint and French organic lavender oils, wasabi powder and coarse sea salt. How to use it: take the tab and bite it so it starts breaking and, with a wet toothbrush, you just cleanse your teeth as usual. I tried them for the first time when I went to Lush Santander and I ordered them again because I loved them. You get about 40 tabs and they are not very hard. 12g. -> £2.75.
Dirty from Lush: another product from the solid toothpaste range which belongs to this wonderful brand. Those of you who know the Lush's range called Dirty may have realized how fresh and minty these toothy tabs are. This was the first solid toothpaste I bought from the selection they have for sale. The main ingredients are: kaolin and spearmint and neroli oils. How to use it: the same way as Ultrablast. I think the Dirty toothy tabs were a little bit harder than the preovious ones I mentioned, but it was not something to be concerned about and I am pretty sure that it depends on the batch. Even so I like then a lot and I recommend them 100%. You get about 40 tabs in the box and 12g. costs £2.00.
Ratanhia toothpaste from Weleda: I buy this product from the online store Idun Nature or from organic shops. This toothpast works wonderful for sensitive gums and kids with final teeth can use it as well. It takes care of the teeth enamel but cleanses deeply leaving a fresh beath without being uncomfortable. The main ingredient is the Peruvian ratanhia root which works together with the myrrh resin extract so the mouth stays healthy (Weleda works on a fair trade project in Peru). What is more, the ratanhia root strengthens and protects the gums. This toothpaste also contains white clay and peppermint, spearmint and fennel oils. What can I say about this product...I love it!!! If I do not have the Lush's toothy tabs, I have this one. Besides it is purple and since this is one of my favourite colours, that is a plus lol. This product is suitable for vegans and it does not contain mineral oils, sinthetic perfumes, preservatives and colourants. The 75ml. tube costs £4.50.
Herbal Mint toothpaste from Go & Home: I bought this product a few days ago and I got it because I found very cheap and this Austrian brand looks very interesting because, as Weleda does, it has the NaTrue certificate and it is suitable for vegans as well. The packaging is very practical and easy to carry. Apart from the normal size, this brand also sells travel size products, which makes this toothpaste the perfect substitute for those of you who do not like the Lush's toothy tabs. The active ingredients are spring water from the Tirol mountains, aloe vera bio and peppermint essential oil. This toothpaste also contains spearmint oil, carrageenan extract and stevia. I still have not used a lot but I like it so far. It leaves you with a fresh breath but not uncomfortable like the previous products. I do recommend it and the prices are more than affordable: 30ml. -> 2,45€ and 75ml. -> 4,95€.

As the tittle says, a mouthwash could not be forgotten. I have tried two natural mouthwashes: one from Dr. Hauschka and another one from Weleda. However, I only repeat with the latter because the former did not work for me. Besides the Dr. Hauschka mouthwash is pretty expensive compared to the time it lasts. Despite containing 300ml. and the Weleda mouthwash, 50ml., you only need to dilute 5 drops of this one in water to make work, so it lasts longer and you save almost 4€. According to Weleda information: 50ml. of this products are equal to 5 litres of non-concentrated mouthwash.
Ratanhia mouthwash from Weleda: this is the perfect "accessory" for the ratanhia toothpaste (it also works well with other brands). It helps keep a fresh breath and healthy gums. It also treats little wounds or sores in the mouth. As I aleady told you, you just have to dilute about 5 drops in water to make it work. You can also apply it directly on the wound or sore with a cotton bud if you can stand the pain or stinging the liquid may cause. If you can, go ahead! The main ingredients are: myrrh, ratanhia rooth and horse chestnut extracts. This product is suitable for gluten intolerants and vegans. It does not contain colourants, preservatives, PEGs, silicones and synthetic perfumes. I think this product is amazing. I was a bit hesitant at the beginning but after using it for a few days, I fell in love. I do not use on a daily basis, but as a treatment for eventual sores and wounds. The 50ml. crystal bottle costs £7.95.
I hope you find this post useful and I encourage you to comment about your basic oral care products. Ideas for next posts accepted!!!
See you soon!!!
