Mi rutina mañanera // My morning routine
Hola querid@s lector@s!!!

Hi my dearest readers!!!
Now the patronal feasts are over, I hope I can update the blog more often. Today's post is going to be about my morning beauty routine. I mainly use products from Lush, Uriage and Raw Gaia. The Gaia Creams products I mentioned in my last post, I use them only for my nightime routine. The regime I am going to describe is done after I have breakfast and go for a walk so I can benefit more from the properties of the products. It is a very simple routine with all organic and natural cosmetics (the nightime routine is more developed because it is the perfect time of the day to treat skin problems - there is more skin regeneration).
I start by using "Angels on Bare Skin" from Lush. As I already wrote on my post "Order from Lush", this is a fresh face cleanser with no preservatives suitable for normal, sensitive and/or mature skins. My skin is not either normal nor mature, however, due to the acne I suffer from, it is quite sensitive, so this product works pretty well for me. Since it is exfoliant, I do not use it every day. After this product, I use "Fresh Farmacy" which is a solid cleanser for sensitive and troubled skins (eccema, acne, irritations, red patches). Since it is solid, there are no preservatives in this cleanser (alike all solid products from Lush). We can find amazing ingredients such as calamine powder with healing, toning, antiseptic and calming properties; and blue chamomile, lavender, rose and tea tree oils with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, healing, regenerating and antibacterial properties.
To help toning the skin, I apply "Floral Face Toner" (now renamed "Floral Rejuvenating Toner") by the British brand raw Gaia on my face. It is made exclusively of floral waters and essential oils. Its main ingredients are rose otto and neroli floral waters; and palmarosa, rose geranium, chamomile and lavender essential oils. This toner is suitable for all skin types. This incredible mixture works wonderfully for toning, rebalancing and revitalizing the skin. As a little help, I also use thermal water. One of the thermal waters I like the most, apart from the water from "Gamarde", is the one from "Uriage". I buy online in the web "Farmasky". This thermal water is high in mineral salts and trace elements. This wonderful spray has healing properties thanks to the zinc and copper, calming properties due to its high percentage of calcium, moisturizing properties helping keep the epidermis upper layers in good conditions and anti-free radical properties because of the manganese which works preventing skin premature aging.
Sometimes I apply pure argan oil onto my skin so I get a little extra moisture. To finish my routine up, I use Lush's "Vanishing Cream" moisturizer. It is a very light creams suitable for oily, combination, sensitive and acne-prone skins. One of the perks of this cream is that it does NOT contain cocoa butter in its formula because it can be comedogenic. To replace this butter, Lush's wizards have added shea butter because it is suitable for oily and acne-prone skins. This creams also contains linseed infusion with soothing properties, lavender honey water, witch hazel extract, tincture of benzoin and cold pressed grapeseed, jojoba, camelia, lavender, neroli and geranium oils. I actually love this cream. I was a little bit hesitant because a few years ago I tried "Imperialis" and I ended up being really disappointed. However, I hit the nail on the head with this cream.
Bare in mind that every skin is different and though it may sound weird, we have to "listen to our own skin". If we do not sleep well, it will be noticed; if we sleep tight, it will be noticed; if we are going through a tough time in our lives, it will be noticed, etc. It is better to have a skin looking as good as possible than cover it with loads of make-up. I have been fighting acne since I was 23 (now I am 27) and I have gone from wearing a lot of make-up and concealer just to being able to go out to wearing just a little bit of translucent powder and blusher (nevertheless, our mental strength is really an important point and as years went on, I have come to the conclusion that those who do not like my face with pimples and spots, just do not look at me. I did not ask for this skin problem, and nobody does. It is just a condition more normal than it seems).
I hope you like this post and if you want to write your experiences and ideas, the comments section is open.
See you soon!!!
